Caddo Magnet High School's softball team played all 29 games of their season on the road due to ADA compliance issues with their home field. Many, Evangel, and Glenbrook all won their playoff openers, while Minden, Haynesville, and several other area teams advanced as well. The Caddo Parish School Board expects to have Magnet's home field ready for next season.

Airline High School boys basketball coach Cedric Washington resigned after two seasons. Washington compiled a 32-35 record and two playoff appearances at Airline. Airline is looking for a boys basketball coach just two years after Cedric Washington took over the program. Washington resigned Monday according to a news release from Vikings principal Justin James. “The administration at Airline is grateful for coach Washington’s service to the school and community,” James said in the release.

The LHSAA released the 2025 baseball playoff pairings for all divisions and classes. Divisions I, II, and III will play best-of-three series, while Division IV and Classes B and C will play single-elimination games. The pairings list shows which schools will face each other and which teams received a bye in the first round. The Louisiana High School Athletic Association released its pairings for the upcoming baseball playoffs.
