A mother and her two-year-old daughter have died after they both sustained serious injuries when a car ploughed into a crowd in Munich. The tot and her mum, 37, were among the 36 people injured after a man drove into crowds in Thursday, February 13, police have confirmed, reports the Mirror. A 24-year-old man from Afghanistan who came to Germany as an asylum-seeker was arrested immediately after the incident.

Two decades on, a man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Thai woman found dead in the Yorkshire Dales. The remains of Lamduan Armitage were found by hikers in a stream at Sell Gill, near Pen-y-ghent, on September 20, 2004, reports Yorkshire Live. For 15 years, she remained unidentified and was referred to as the 'Lady of The Hills' until her parents recognised her from a news report and reached out to the police. DNA testing confirmed the identity of the mother-of-three.
