Two Trenton barbers gained hero status on Monday after their quick response saved a 2-year-old and her grandmother from a burning building. Regino Garcia, 42, and Kenny Geerman 27, rushed from the Capitol Barber Shop, crossed Liberty St. and entered the rear of the home on Brown St. Inside they found a petrified Dunia Ruiz who told them about a child asleep in an upstairs bedroom. Ruiz pleaded for the men to save her granddaughter. Smoke filled the home and a search discovered the girl.
