MADISON TWP., Ohio (WKBN) — A 10-year-old boy died after being hit by a pickup truck in Madison Township on Saturday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. OSHP said the boy was riding his bike when he was hit and killed around 5:45 p.m. on State Route 7 about a half a mile south of Beaver Local High School. Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, St. Clair Township Police and OSHP responded, and West Point Fire Department was on scene with an ambulance. The boy was taken to a local hospital.

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) — East Liverpool is ready to rip the cover off of pool season and they’re getting a little help to make sure they make a splash this summer. The East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary just made a cannonball of a donation to help keep things running smoothly at the J.B. Cartrwight pool in town. “If it didn’t happen, we wouldn’t be able to open it,” said Mayor Bobby Smith. For the second-straight year, they’ve donated $35,000 to the city.

LAWRENCE Co., Pa. (WKBN) — Emergency crews were busy tending to an accident that sent two people to the hospital Friday. It happened just before noon at the intersection of Route 422 and 551 in Lawrence County. The crash between an SUV and a car caused both vehicles to leave the road, leaving heavy damage to both.
