JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ)– On January 23, 22-year-old Anthony Cobaugh was shot and killed on the front porch of a house on D Street in Johnstown. As the investigation continues into who is responsible for the shooting, so does his family’s search for answers. Less than a week after the shooting happened, officers spoke with 19-year-old Ethan Nowak, who said that he knew who had shot Cobaugh. But after that person had turned himself in and denied all allegations, which were backed by several witnesses.

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ)– Central Pennsylvania was hit hard by Tuesday’s storm, and widespread damage has been reported just about everywhere. The historic Grandview Cemetery in Altoona is no different. If you visit or drive past the cemetery regularly, what you see now looks nearly unrecognizable, with trees lying over grave sites in every direction. While cemetery staff and some volunteers were able to clean the roads through it on Wednesday, there’s a lot more work to be done with little help.

(WTAJ) — Strong storms brought wind damage across our viewing area Tuesday evening. WTAJ reporters and viewers captured pictures of the damage, showing just how widespread it was. In Bellefonte in Centre County, high winds toppled trees and caused damage to the Union Cemetery. Cemetery Ground Supervisor David Sexton watched the storm from his truck and said that the cemetery has been damaged by high wind storms three times before, and that the previous ones have cost thousands of dollars to repair.

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Although gas-powered vehicles still dominate Pennsylvania roads, electric vehicles (EVs) are making steady gains, and experts say the shift shows no signs of slowing. Triple A reports that a majority of vehicles on the road remain gas-powered, but electric vehicle ownership has grown steadily over the past five years.
