UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Board of Trustees on Sept. 6 approved a variety of appointments to board committees and positions, including at-large members, Executive Committee directors and Penn State Health directors. Trustees elected four at-large members to its Executive Committee, which handles business between scheduled board meetings, including annual committee plans and agendas, outreach and oversight of University activities beyond the scope of other board committees.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Jared Wise has been named the University’s new chief risk officer. Wise was formerly Penn State’s insurance program manager within the Office of Risk Management, a position he served in since May 2017. Wise was named to the position in July, following the departure of Bill Raab in June.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The annual Liberal Arts Office Olympics recently brought staff from the College of the Liberal Arts together to show off for a good cause - raising funds for the Centre County United Way. Through games and events that put nine teams to the test, the competitors raised more than $3,000.
