News Tramore GAA club (Micheal MacGraith) is to undergo changes to the physicality of the facility. Tramore is one of the oldest GAA clubs in County Waterford, having been founded in 1885. The grounds located in Riverstown is the heart of the community, hosting community events and being home to the only pub in the area. In a statement to WLR, the club confirmed they are undergoing several altercations.

The price of the average second-hand three-bed semi in County Waterford has increased to €255,000, up 2% from €250,000 in the last three months, according to a national survey by Real Estate Alliance. The market in Waterford city was unchanged at an average of €300,000 this quarter, the Q2 REA Average House Price Index shows.

UNITE Trade Union has called the HSE's accusations against their University Hospital Waterford members as 'unfounded'. This comes as the HSE announced last Thursday that University Hospital Waterford staff involved in industrial action would not receive pay rises due to them. A letter sent to the Unite trade union last Thursday accused members of having broken the Public Sector Agreement terms.

News Protests in solidarity with Natasha O’Brien after her attacker Cathal Crotty received a suspended sentence took place across Ireland this weekend - including in Dungarvan. Ms O’Brien was attacked on O'Connell Street in Limerick on May 29th, 2022 by serving soldier Cathal Crotty – who received a suspended sentence this week. A solidarity march was held in Dungarvan's Walton Park on Sunday, having been organised by Conor McGuinness and Monica Murphy.
