Schools in the Southcentral and Interior are navigating through April snowfalls, while areas like Sitka and Kodiak have seen action on the baseball diamond. The Dome has been home to track and field and soccer, while Valley schools like Wasilla and Colony are playing outside on the pitch.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Jett McCullough is continuing his basketball career right where it started as he signed to play college ball at his hometown University of Alaska Fairbanks in front of a library full of friends and family at Monroe Catholic High School. The Fairbanks-raised hooper was an uncommon four-year starter for Monroe and was a 2024-25 Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches 1st-Team All-State member.

Now, the doors to the Sullivan Arena are opening up to hockey once again as the Anchorage Wolverines junior hockey program is set to skate into the 2024-25 season in the stadium that seats more than 6,000.
