With a daily circulation of approximately 57,622 copies and around 71,223 on Sundays, it stands as the most widely circulated newspaper in Alaska. The newspaper’s main office is in Anchorage, and it also has additional bureaus in Wasilla, Fairbanks, Juneau, Bethel, and Washington, D.C.

The decision was a reversal of the position of the previous head of the independent office, who was fired by President Donald Trump. The independent watchdog agency said it does not have the purview to pursue the complaints that more than 2,000 federal employees made, the email said.
