    Fiongal Greenlaw and Jamie Meek, who ran The Wellness Foundry on Black Prince Road, Lambeth, were among the 242 listed passengers onboard of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft which crashed on June 12. The Wellness Foundry was founded by Fiongal in late 2018, born out of a “profound spiritual awakening” after a mysterious illness. His partner Jamie joined the Team in March 2023 as co-director and head of events.

    Chalkhill Park was shut off by police on Monday (June 16) as forensics investigated the attack which took place on Sunday (June 15). Emergency services, including a London Air Ambulance, were called to the scene at 9.55pm. A man, 28, was treated for stab wounds before being rushed to hospital by road. His injuries have been assessed as life-changing, but not life-threatening. The cordon remained in place throughout all of Monday, shutting off access to the park and closing off Rook Close.

    Police were called to Rookery Road, by Clapham Common, on Saturday (June 14) at 6.21pm to reports of an altercation. Video footage being widely circulated online shows a group of people surrounding the police car, as one person started attacking the vehicle and others joining in. At one point, someone is seen chucking a large object to the windscreen. Then, the person is seen jumping on top of the bonnet, kicking and stomping on the windscreen.

    Tragedy struck the community in Stoke Newington yesterday (June 17) after news of a gas explosion at a house on Dumont Road at around 5am. It later emerged that Annabel Rook, 46, was found dead with stab injuries following the explosion. Ms Rook was the co-founder and head of the refugee and women’s charity MamaSuze. The charity helps victims of forced displacement and gender-based violence “build a more positive future” using theatre and art workshops.

    Police were first called to North Circular Road in Stonebridge on Monday (June16) at 2.05pm to reports of the racially aggravated assault. When officers later arrived at the scene, four were also assaulted and three of them had minor injuries from it. Another officer was also racially abused. Two of these officers were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
