    (Jefferson City, MO) On April 1, 2025, the Missouri House of Representatives voted "Do Pass" on House Bill (HB) 328. HB 328 was sponsored by Representative Tim Taylor of District 48. This bill would lower the age requirement from 19 to 18 years of age or older for a person to obtain a concealed carry permit. The bill also allows any holder with a permit to lawfully carry firearms in public transportation such as a bus. This bill does not apply to Amtrak or any companies partnered with Amtrak.
