Sam Navarro-Imagn Images After lighting the world on fire late last week with a report that the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers have engaged in trade talks for Pro Bowl Tight End Jonnu Smith, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that a trade is not expected to happen. According to Schefter, the Steelers have moved on from Smith and are visiting with former Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars free agent wide receiver Gabe Davis later today.

They were second only to the Dallas Cowboys and narrowly ahead of the San Francisco 49ers in scoring, repeatedly executing one big play after another. Part of that was due to Miami's focus on getting the ball to their playmakers, especially star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. In total, Hill was targeted Hill never hit 2K yards receiving in 2024.

Moving on from Ramsey Post-June 1st will save the Dolphins $5.9M this season, splitting the remaining $29.2M up over the next two seasons ($10.7M in 2025, $18.5M in 2026), according to Spotrac. Last week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Ramsey was bringing in more interest than expected.
