The Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan released its 2024-25 all-state teams this week, and 14 Muskegon-area girls basketball players were honored. Four local players earned a spot on the BCAM’s Best list, which is the coaches association’s version of first team all-state honors. BIG RAPIDS, MI – Trinidad Chambliss is making the jump from Division II to Division I. The All-American quarterback from Ferris State University led the Bulldogs to a Division II national championship this past season but will be taking his talents to the SEC this fall as a member of the Ole Miss football team. Chambliss is expected to compete for the starting quarterback job for the Rebels as the program looks to replace the production of potential NFL first-round pick Jaxson Dart.
