Twenty-four hours after suffering an 8-5 loss to the Waterloo Black Hawks in Game 1, the Jacks claimed home-ice advantage in the series with a decisive 4-1 road win on Saturday night at Young Arena in Waterloo, Iowa. The freshman standout earned first team all-conference honors as a key member of the Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team this past winter after averaging 11.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists per game. Walker carried that momentum directly over to the track, where she has emerged as one of the top rising stars as a sprinter for the Rockets track and field team.
