NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The MTA gave final approval on Wednesday to the congestion pricing plan that will charge many drivers an extra $15 and trucks even higher tolls to enter the busiest part of Manhattan—tolling that could begin as soon as June. The plan passed in an 11-1 vote. Marc Herbst, executive director of the Long Island Contractors' Association, was the only member to vote against it.
