The Inland Northwest saw a very warm late May day on Wednesday with highs in the 80s and 90s, but a cold front will make its arrival early in the day on Thursday to shake things up. Thunderstorms will be possible starting in Eastern Washington late Thursday morning into Thursday afternoon. The best storm coverage is expected in the Northeast Washington and the North Idaho Panhandle. Temperatures will cool some but stay above average with highs in the low-80s for most.

High temperatures hop up into the 80s on Wednesday for most in the Inland Northwest with warmer areas including the LC Valley sneaking back into the 90s. A cold front moving through Wednesday night into Thursday will bring a chance of some storms to the Inland Northwest. The first storms are possible Wednesday night in Central Washington with the threat extending to Eastern Washington and North Idaho Thursday morning into the afternoon. The strongest storms are expected in the northern mountains.

The Inland Northwest is headed into another warming trend with highs climbing well into the 80s by Wednesday. Warmer areas could peek back into the 90s. There will be plenty of sunshine along the way. A weak cold front will arrive Wednesday night. This will cool things down a bit for Thursday and strengthen the breeze. Temperatures then rise back up for the weekend. Get ready for a sunny Saturday in the 80s.

Following the warmest day of the year for most of the Inland Northwest, a cold front will move through the region overnight leading to showers and some thunderstorm activity. The last few showers and storms will clear out in the morning. Clouds will give way to sunshine, but temperatures will be cooler. Expect seasonal high temperatures with highs in the upper-60s and low-70s for most. A post-frontal breeze will stick around for most of the day.

The weather pattern changed just in time for Memorial Day weekend in the Inland Northwest. Sunshine will be plentiful Saturday and Sunday. Highs will climb well into the 70s by Saturday and well into the 80s by Sunday. A band of showers with some embedded thunderstorms is expected to push through late Sunday night into Memorial Day morning. Rainfall is not expected to be heavy outside of thunderstorms. Clearing will come for most later in the day.
