Cada vez se reportan más casos de aves, reptiles y pequeños marsupiales, como las zarigüeyas, que son atacados por perros y gatos sin dueño, muchos de los cuales fueron alguna vez mascotas y hoy vagan por las calles, las reservas y las áreas protegidas.

The event will include refreshments, educational demonstrations and activity tables. A 68 años de su fallecimiento, Pedro Infante sigue presente en la memoria colectiva y en el cariño del pueblo mexicano. Este martes 15 se le rendirá un homenaje en el Hotel Boulevard Infante, ubicado sobre la avenida Itzaes, lugar donde fue velado en 1957 y donde vivió sus últimos días. Desde este espacio cargado de historia se dio a conocer el programa del homenaje “El legado del ídolo Pedro Infante”, que incluirá artes visuales, música, baile, memoria y tradición popular.

(KPLC) - The Imperial Calcasieu Museum is opening two new exhibits showcasing the talent of more than 20 artists in the Lake Area. “Budding Talents is showcasing upcoming artists that are flourishing in their craft. We have over 20 artists ranging in different mediums, so you’re going to have graphite, print making, painting, sculpture, and everything you can think of all together,” Ashley Royer, interim director for the museum, said.
