Officials with the Barton County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the body of 47-year-old Manuel Gomez was discovered in the Republic Services Prairie View Regional Waste Landfill in Lamar, Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred just after 3:00 a.m., when her car went off the road into a ditch, hitting a culvert. The vehicle overturned and caught fire.
