The Boone County Fire Protection District responded to the scene, which was located in the Dollar General parking lot in the 400 block of Route B. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the suspect is Lauren Castellana, 33. Investigators say she made threats to the children and then left the home with them on Tuesday. Authorities said no contact has been made with Castellana or the children since then.
