Share BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - One of the potential threats for South Central Kentucky during winter weather is power outages. In case of power outages, there are websites available for customers to track outages and companies’ responses. The Bowling Green Police Department is urging residents to not call 911 for power outages, but to call their electric company.

Please pray for my hometown. I’m from Gallatin and thankfully my family and I are safe and okay, but I know that’s not the case for everyone. #Gallatin #Hendersonville #Tennessee

The Nesbitt Lane area has severe damage. Our Personnel along with @NashvilleFD are on scene. Avoid this area. Remember do not approach downed power lines. https://t.co/0eaShIa8VJ

I was surprised at @wbkotv Christmas/end of the year party by being recognized as this year’s News Employee of the Year! It really reminded me of how much I’ve grown as a professional journalist and producer this past year. Really blessed and thankful for this recognition. https://t.co/zCBgQQJbp2

I’ve finally recovered from 2023 Elections. WHAT A NIGHT! This is my third election that I’ve covered and so far my favorite! From the showcasing to making a special Election Night open. Definitely couldn’t have done it without the amazing team both on air and behind the scenes! https://t.co/sPjk2t4F5i
