    The Johnson City Development Authority is opening up the Downtown Centre for free parking on the weekends. Starting May 31, downtown visitors will be able to park in the Downtown Centre, located on the corner of E. Market and Buffalo streets from 6 p.m. until Midnight on Friday, noon until midnight on Saturday and noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday. “Parking downtown is at a premium because of the growth that we’ve been having in downtown Johnson City,” JCDA Executive Director Tish Oldham.
