While we didn't break the 100-year-old record today, we still saw an extremely hot afternoon. Not only was it the warmest day we have seen in over 200 days, but this is typically a temperature we would find in late July and early August. https://t.co/OySYnAt9aU

We stayed out of the record books today, but it doesn't look like we'll be quite as lucky for the rest of the week. We'll look to reach the century mark for the first time this year tomorrow afternoon. And the heat doesn't look to stop for the rest of the week. https://t.co/lanZT65TUY

EYES ON EASTERWOOD Since 2pm we have seen temperatures soar from 93° to 97° with a heat index over 100°🥵 The record for today is 99°. If the warming continues, we could at least tie, if not break, that record. https://t.co/c7UiyNKqrK
