It happened Saturday evening on the east end of the beach behind Barefoot on the Beach Bar and Grill. According to Panama City Beach Police, the victim was a 10-year-old boy who died at the hospital.

    BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – School may be out, but mentoring is in at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. The non-profit supports one-to-one mentoring relationships year-round in Bay, Walton, and Okaloosa counties. In Bay county, there are 21 kids waiting to be matched with a mentor, or what the agency calls a ‘Big’ sister or ‘Big’ brother. While school is out for the Summer, the agency still works hard to find mentors.

    PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) – The Panama City Beach Police Department is investigating the drowning of a young boy. According to Beach Safety Director for the City of Panama City Beach, Daryl Paul, there is an extensive investigation underway to determine exactly what happened.

    PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) – The transport of the remaining seven bottlenose dolphins at Gulf World Marine Park is underway Tuesday morning. The state’s attorney’s office has confirmed that the four dolphins being transported in the morning are heading to Marineland Dolphin Adventure in St. Augustine. The other three dolphins will be moved to Dolphin Connection in Duck Key, FloridaBoth companies are owned by the Dolphin Company, which also owns Gulf World Marine Park.
