LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Unseasonably cool weather will continue across the region over the next few days...with breezy conditions at times. Over half of the days so far this month have been in the 80s and lower 90s...and 16 of the 20 days in May have been “above-average” temperature-wise. That pattern is taking a 180° turn as “below-average” readings are now expected all the way through Memorial Day Monday...and perhaps beyond.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The outlook for precipitation this week never looked very promising...but I’m saying there’s a chance... An area of low pressure to our south will be responsible for shower-and-thunderstorm activity across parts of Kansas and Oklahoma over the next 48 hours. Our forecast area will be on the northern periphery of any precipitation shield...meaning isolated or widely scattered showers and thunderstorms, not “widespread” activity.
