A second man has died as a result of the May 16 crash on U.S. 41 in the town of Little River, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office released May 30. Previously, the sheriff's office said a 64-year-old Oconto man had been killed when his pickup truck turned south onto the highway from County W and was struck from behind by a car driven by a 39-year-old Denmark man, also heading southbound.

A 79-year-old Fond du Lac man died in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck May 27 in the town of Eden, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office. The man, who was driving an SUV, was struck as he turned in front of a westbound dump truck at the intersection of Fond du Lac County B and County K, according to a preliminary investigation. The man had been traveling eastbound on County B when he attempted to make a left turn to travel northbound on County K, Sgt. Brandon Henning said.

A 64-year-old Oconto man died in a crash shortly after 11 a.m. May 16 on U.S. 41 in the town of Little River, according to the Oconto County Sheriff's Office. The man, who was driving a pickup truck, had just turned south onto the highway from County W when he was struck from behind by a car also heading southbound, a preliminary investigation showed. Both vehicles ended up in the median, with the heavily damaged truck overturned, Sheriff Todd Skarban said.
