AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A case against Perryton ISD and its former athletic director will continue after mediation failed with the father of a girl the director sexually assaulted. Lawyers filed notice of the resolution failure on Tuesday. Cole Underwood is serving 30 years in federal prison after admitting to assaulting her in his office at least 10 times. The father filed the federal suit in August and legal wrangling has continued since then.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Potter County commissioners voted Monday to give developers more time to finish an affordable senior living center on the North Side and an added financial boost. The deadline to finish the conversion of the former Saint Anthony’s Hospital on Amarillo Boulevard into The Commons at St. Anthony’s will move from the end of April to the end of August. A representative of the developer said the delay was caused by trouble getting electrical supplies like a generator.

TULIA, Texas (KFDA) - An international solar energy developer announced today the operation of one of the country’s largest facilities in Swisher County near Tulia. In a news release, Vesper Energy says the development has more than one million modules over six square miles.
