According to The Boston Globe‘s Tim Healey, Red Sox first base coach Jose Flores got in a shouting match with Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson. According to WEEI’s Rob Bradford, Anderson started the incident. The Angels thought the Red Sox were stealing signs and Anderson started yelling at Flores about it, according to the report.

The Knicks made the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in a quarter-century after they beat the Celtics and ended Al Horford’s season. Could the 38-year-old big man be one of the pieces to vault them into the NBA Finals next year? ESPN’s Tim Bontemps floated the Knicks as a possible landing spot for Horford, now that his deal with the Celtics has expired. “This summer, the Knicks have their top seven guys,” said Bontemps.

David Ortiz offered some advice for Rafael Devers on Monday. The Red Sox legend wants Devers to consider playing first base. Devers has hit his stride as a designated hitter. His 52 RBI are tied for the league lead, he has 12 home runs, and he’s hitting .286 with a 408 on-base percentage and a .515. slugging percentage. But, with Triston Casas injured, the Red Sox have gone with a mix of Nick Sogard, Romy Gonzalez, and Abraham Toro at the position.

Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs missed the Patriots’ OTA practice session on Wednesday, but that didn’t stop questions from being asked about a viral video that surfaced of him partying over the Memorial Day weekend. The video shows Diggs on a boat with several women in swimsuits. At one point in the video, he is holding a clear pouch containing an unidentified pink substance. Head coach Mike Vrabel was asked if the situation was one the team should be looking into.

Red Sox pitcher Liam Hendriks posted a note on his Instagram story Thursday morning saying that he and his wife have received death threats. “Just as an FYI: Threats against me and my wife’s life are horrible and cruel,” Hendriks wrote. “You need help. Leaving comments and telling me to commit suicide and how you wish I died from cancer is disgusting and vile.”“Maybe you should step back and reevaluate your life’s purpose before hiding behind a screen and attacking players and their families.
