    Officials say a driver was arrested after his car crashed at full speed into the rear of a school bus, leaving one person injured, before he fled the scene in Gurnee. The Gurnee Police Department and Gurnee Fire Department responded around 2:45 p.m. Monday to Hunt Club Road and Cunningham Court for a report of a vehicle crash with injuries. Officers arrived to find a Honda Accord that rear-ended a school bus, according to Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Lillian Lewis.

The 22nd Judicial Circuit Court in September announced that Honey the canine was its newest employee at the Michael J. Sullivan Judicial Center in Woodstock. Honey, a nine-month-old Golden Retriever, was purchased from Sunset Goldens in Villa Park to assist in alleviating stress and promoting a calming environment within the court.
