A loving dad died of a “broken heart” two years after his partner suddenly lost her life, orphaning their three young children. Ronnie McGuinness, 44, died at home last week of a suspected cardiac arrest in Walker, Newcastle. The tragedy came after his partner of 18 years, Julieann McAllister, died on Christmas Eve in 2021.

A schoolboy has died and another is fighting for his life after getting into difficulty in the River Tyne. Police received a report at around 3.30pm on Saturday that two boys had got into difficulty in the water near Ovingham bridge in Ovingham, Northumberland. Emergency services were called to the area and one of the boys, 13, was rescued from the water. He was taken to hospital where he currently remains in a critical condition, Chronicle Live reports.

A career crook who was jailed for fracturing a man's jaw and attacking a teenage boy was found dead in his prison cell by another convict. Kevin Rowntree hanged himself at Holme House prison in 2021 and left a note for his family, telling them to "have a party at his funeral." A prison officer had unlocked the door to the 41-year-old's cell but failed to look inside. Another prisoner then went into the cell and found him dead on the floor, reports the Chronicle Live.

A furious mum says her daughter was 'treated like a dog' by school staff following a row over wearing Vivienne Westwood shoes. Melissa Pope said her 11 year old daughter Layla Thomson was put into isolation and sent home during her very first day. The alleged incident shook the youngster so badly, her mum claims, that she is now refusing to send her back to school.

I'm not sure if this is because she is in the public eye but that should not matter. Would they say the same to a friends sister or mum? Who knows but he needs to be reported and dealt with accordingly. This is not OK!
