click to enlarge Zoe Hoerner-LeVell of Enosburg Falls' Bumblebee Bistro is not your average early-career chef. She is unflappable and utterly consistent. Her from-scratch, farm-to-table comfort food is conceived, cooked and seasoned just right every time. You'd expect all of that from a culinary-degreed kitchen veteran, but Hoerner-LeVell is no mature master chef.

Adam Weiss, the chef/owner of F1rst, is one of these food whisperers. His menu vaults to the skies from his amuse-bouche on and only builds excitement, like a Shore roller coaster. One taste of Weiss’s ethereal Parisienne gnocchi had me as breathless as Six Flags’ Jersey Devil.

The Circle is my first 3½ star restaurant in nearly 15 years of reviewing for NJ Monthly. Luscious, lovable, & BYO, it's well worth the drive from NYC. Go before the inevitable Gray Lady ink & James Beard noms blow it up! https://t.co/hoJCGRh6LA
