So far, around 2.5 million people, or about 26% of Pennsylvania's registered drivers have gotten their Real ID, PennDOT's Secretary of Transportation Michael Carroll said earlier this month.

Francis, known for often taking modern approaches to his leadership of the Roman Catholic Church, was the 266th pope. He died at the age of 88. Condolences and acknowledgements of the pontiff's death poured out among Philadelphia-area religious leaders Monday morning.

The long hoped for revitalization of the Oxford Valley Mall could be one step closer as the first phase of construction for the neighboring Atlee Square luxury apartments is complete. "The whole point of the development of our community was to kick start the bigger redevelopment of the entire mall property," said David Della Porta, founding partner of the project developer Cornerstone Tracy. The four-story building includes 391 units with nine different layout options for the apartments.

More development could be coming to Richland Township after supervisors voted to rezone approximately 140 acres of open space along West Paletown Road. The 115 parcels immediately to the east of Old Bethlehem Pike are being rezoned from Rural Agricultural to Suburban Residential Low, paving the way for a future low-density residential development similar to what's happened in the neighboring Twin Lakes subdivision, which is also being rezoned.
