Deputy Mayors Maria Torres-Springer, Anne Williams-Isom, Meera Joshi, and Chauncey Parker have stepped down from their roles, a spokesperson from the mayor’s office confirmed.

PARAMUS, N.J. (PIX11) — A 2.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Paramus, New Jersey on Friday afternoon, according to the USGS. The earthquake was recorded just after 1 p.m. at a depth of about 7.7 kilometers (4.7 miles). NEW YORK (PIX11) – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents made hundreds of arrests during enforcement actions across the country on Thursday, the federal agency announced. ICE posted on X that 538 arrests were made, and 373 detainers were lodged. More Local News In Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Ras Baraka said ICE agents raided a seafood store and detained three people.
