The fans’ group say that for almost all Premier League games the cost of the cheapest seat available to members is going up by 50 per cent.

Everton are in advanced talks to appoint Manchester United’s director of academy Nick Cox as technical director at the club. Cox has led United’s academy since 2019, overseeing the graduation to the senior side of Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Amass and Tony Collyer, and Everton would see his arrival as a coup. Everton have a position open to lead their football department under chief executive Angus Kinnear, with Cox ready to take the step up to first-team level.

The move coincides with Jason Wilcox being named United's director of football, a position of increased seniority from the technical director title he initially arrived with in April 2024.
