SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The City of Syracuse is taking legal action against the owners of the former Skyline Apartments, citing ongoing deteriorating conditions at the complex. The city has petitioned the New York Supreme Court to appoint a receiver to replace Clear Investment Group with the hopes of making the dilapidated building on James Street livable once again. This move follows reports of a burst water pipe that leaked millions of gallons over weeks or months.

There is a new magazine for local moms. Lauren Wojtalewski, who serves as the magazine's creative director and Allison Kenien, the editor-in-chief, say they noticed a lot of moms commenting on social media about feeling lonely and not having friends. "As moms ourselves we relied on friends and family for support but realize others may not be as fortunate," Wojtalewski said.

"Cardiovascular disease unfairly targets women. SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse Police are investigating a Syracuse that happened Sunday around 7:25 p.m.Police were called to the 200 block of Beecher Street, and they found a 36-year-old man with a stab wound to his back. The injury, according to Syracuse Police, did not appear life-threatening. Anyone with information about the stabbing should call Syracuse police at (315) 442-5222.
