WSTM-TV (Syracuse, NY)
WSTM-TV is a television station affiliated with NBC, serving the Central Upstate New York region and based in Syracuse. It first went on air as WSYR-TV on February 15, 1950, broadcasting on VHF channel 3. In 1980, the station changed its call letters to WSTM, while WSYR was reassigned to WIXT channel 9 in 2005. The station now transmits a high-definition digital signal on UHF channel 24, which appears as virtual channel 3.1 through PSIP. WSTM-TV is owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group and shares its ownership with the low-powered CW affiliate WSTQ-LP and CBS affiliate WTVH. Although WTVH is owned by the Granite Broadcasting Corporation, it is operated by Sinclair under joint sales and shared services agreements. All three stations operate from the same studios located on James Street/NY 290 in the Near Northeast area of Syracuse.

The 40-acre drive thru animal park features a new lion’s enclosure for visitors to see as they pass through the Safari. FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A 16-year-old boy is in the hospital after a stabbing at West Potomac High School in Fairfax County on Wednesday, authorities said. Officers with the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) responded to the school and discovered that a teenager had been stabbed. The 16-year-old was initially rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Now, the teen's injuries have been downgraded to "stable condition," FCPD said in a Noon update.
