HANAHAN, S.C. (WCIV) — A local softball player is returning for his 28th year playing for the Lowcountry Senior Softball Association. At 88 years old, this year may mark the last for Duffie Stone. “I’m going to play this year, and then I’m going to see,” he said. Stone helped to create the league in the 1990’s, after switching from playing baseball to softball. “I love to pitch and get somebody to hit a pop-up or something of that nature. You don’t strike many people out in slow pitch,” he said.

We Rock the Spectrum bills itself as a space for kids with autism, special needs, and neurotypical development. Franchise owners Ray and Mandi Plesscher said they "fell in love" with the idea of opening their own gym after visiting a location in Louisiana with their son, Walker, who has autism.

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) — A Moncks Corner family is left reeling for the second time in three months after their home was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday night. Allison Benton lost two children, 22-year-old Anthonie and 7-year-old Eli, in a car crash on Christmas Eve. Anthonie Benton (22) and Eli Benton (7) were killed in a wrong way crash on U.S. 52 Near South Carolina Highway 375 on Christmas Eve while on thier way to a family hunting trip.
