Voters across West Virginia are heading to the polls to vote in the 2024 primary election. The governor’s race has been one of the most closely watched. On the Republican ticket, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, former Del. Moore Capito, R-Kanawha, car dealership magnate Chris Miller and Secretary of State Mac Warner have advertised heavily, and at least three of them have engaged in significant mudslinging — something voters said they don’t like.
