Deaf Broadway's 2025 offering will be an American Sign Language-infused performance of Waitress, the 2015 Sara Bareilles-Jessie Nelson musical based on the 2007 film. The performance will be given July 23 in Damrosch Park. As in previous Deaf Broadway performances, Waitress will feature a full, live Deaf cast performing the show in ASL to a prerecorded audio performance of the musical. Sandra Mae Frank, seen on Broadway in Deaf West Theatre's Spring Awakening revival, will direct.

Broadway favorite Julie Benko (Funny Girl, Harmony) will star as Eliza Doolittle in a one-night-only concert performance of Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady at Colorado's Theatre Aspen July 15. The performance will be held in the Michael Klein Music Tent, with further casting to be announced. Maggie Burrows will direct the concert, with Andy Einhorn conducting the Aspen Music Festival Orchestra.

The Public Theater is bringing back Julia Masli's Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha for an Off-Broadway encore run, performing in the company's Anspacher Theater May 30-June 22. The show sees Masli, a trained clown, using a bronze leg and a handbell to clear all your worries. “Hahahahahahahahahaha,” says Masli in a statement about her excitement for bringing the show back to New York.
