LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — 200 athletes participated in the 2025 Southern Nevada Unified Championships Schools bowling tournament hosted by Special Olympics Nevada on Wednesday. The event, which took place at Sunset Station’s Strike Zone Bowling Alley in Henderson, aimed to unite those with and without intellectual disabilities as teammates. Dominique Christion, director of school initiatives for Special Olympics Nevada, said the participants were all geared up to play.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Bigtime boxing is on display in Las Vegas once again. Two undefeated men and one belt will be on the line. David Benavidez (29-0, 24 KOs) will face off with David Morrell Jr. (11-0, KOs) at T-Mobile Arena for the light heavyweight belt. “I’ve been working extremely hard. Like I told you guys I’m gonna break David Morrell’s face. I’m a man of my word,” Benavidez said. Both men have very different stories of getting here.
