BUHL, Idaho - Buhl School District is asking voters to approve a two-year, $650,000 levy on the May 20 ballot to fund essential operations including staffing, transportation and supplies. If the levy fails, the district will need to make significant cuts beyond the three teaching positions already planned for elimination due to decreased enrollment. "If we don't pass the levy, we're going to have to make some pretty significant cuts," said Superintendent Angie Oparnico.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The Twin Falls Police Department has unveiled a permanent memorial display featuring the uniform of Officer Craig Bracken, the only officer killed in the line of duty in the department's 118-year history. The uniform, which shows the bullet hole and blood stains from the 1939 shooting, is now displayed in a museum-quality case in the patrol briefing room. TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Three Idaho men will pay hundreds of dollars in fines and lose their hunting licenses for three years as part of a plea deal in a larger wildlife poaching investigation. The men were among several Idahoans accused of crimes against wildlife in the South Hills. Austin Zeko, Brian Bob George, and Bobby George agreed to the deal that dropped lesser misdemeanors and reduced some serious felonies, according to public court records.
