    BLUE ISLAND, IL — The FBI is looking for three suspects who robbed a Brinks armored car Friday in Blue Island. Nobody was injured, the FBI said. Three suspects held up a Brinks truck in Blue Island. | FBI The robbery unfolded around 4:20p.m. Blue Island police and the FBI responded to an armored car robbery at U.S. Bank, 11960 S. Western Avenue, when the three purported robbers approached the Brinks car with guns drawn, according to the feds.

    Palos Heights police responded to the hospital on Wednesday for a report of a patent attacking a nurse. While at the hospital, officers learned that the patient, Lane, had been transported by a neighboring jurisdiction to receive medical treatment. Lane is said to have grabbed the nurse around the neck. The nurse was treated for non-life threatening injuries and is expected to recover, police said. Officers took statements, video and photographs of the nurse’s injuries.

    OAK LAWN, IL — A school bus carrying students to Richards High School in Oak Lawn was involved in a car crash Friday morning at 118th Street and Pulaski Road, on the border of Chicago and Oak Lawn, according to CHSD 218 Supt. Josh Barron. The crash happened between 7:30 and 8 a.m. on the Chicago side of Pulaski Road. Seventeen students were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, while 20 other students refused medical attention and continued on with their school day.
