A five-year-old Australian girl with a rare and aggressive cancer has had her hopes of treatment in the US dashed. A prominent Perth businessman who is accused of attacking a supermarket owner with a wheel of cheese will fight the charges. Paulo Silvestro, 62, has indicated he will plead not guilty to assaulting the owners of an Italian grocer. Police were called to the Stirling IGA in March. Silvestro’s family runs the well-known WA building company Home Group. Dozens of teenagers ran amok in Scarborough on Thursday, dashing across roads and dodging cars as police tried to break up the throng. Video footage of a stampede of teens running through the streets following the sunset markets has been released, with the event confronting locals. Stirling mayor Mark Irwin said the kids were intent on causing a disruption. “We don’t want to see dickheads ruining it for everyone else,” he told 7NEWS.
