FENTON, Mo. (KFVS) - St. Vincent is one win away from state championship glory. The Lady Indians took down Logan-Rogersville 6-3, in a high-scoring showdown at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton. Before Friday’s contest, the Lady Indians were sent on their way by a few hundred fans. Supporters scattered around St. Vincent school and downtown Perryville, as the team’s bus did a lap around the town square before heading up to St. Louis.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Cape Central High School hosted Leopold and Puxico Thursday, for several high school basketball scrimmages. The Tigers Junior Varsity and Varsity teams faced off against their equivalents, Leopold and Puxico. For the Tigers, it’s a chance to have a full offseason under now second-year head coach LaMont Frazier. Coach Frazier has worked to bring together the large squad and is now looking to get them into game shape over the next few weeks.

OXFORD, Miss. (KFVS) - Call em’ the Super Racers!Murray State knocked off No. 10 Ole Miss, 12-11, to win the Oxford Regional, Monday night in Mississippi. The win gives the Racers a ticket to Super Regionals, marking the furthest the team has ever advanced in the postseason. Murray State started out extremely strong on the evening, going up 12-3 in the top of the 7th, before Ole Miss rallied strong.

OZARK, Mo. (KFVS) - Oran and Chaffee fell in their State Baseball Semifinal matchups, Monday. The Class 1 No. 1 Eagles battled No. 2 St. Elizabeth Monday morning, falling 7-6 in 8 innings. Oran took the lead 1-0 in the top of the 1st before conceding three in the bottom of the inning. The Eagles would rally back to tie it at 3, before an error gave them the lead 4-3 in the 2nd. The game went back and forth for a bit, with St. Elizabeth regaining the lead 5-6.
