CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Good morning heartland, and happy Sunday. Starting the morning off with a little fog that could impact your morning drive. However, once the sun is up and shining expect to see clear and calm conditions for our Sunday. Highs today will be in the low 90s but with heat index values expect temps to be closer to the upper 90s for some places in the area. Hot and humid conditions will slowly start to creep back across the heartland as we start the work week.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Good morning heartland. We are starting the morning off with a few scattered showers. Temps currently sitting in the low 70s and will warm up into the mid 80s. We will still see the possibility of a few isolated thunderstorms, with the potential for heavy rain and localized flooding. Taking a look into the work week, there are a few storms heading into the Heartland and have the possibility to see some isolated storms early on tomorrow.

Temps will start off in the low 70s and will quickly warm up into the low to middle 90s. However, with the heat index values, expect to see temps in the upper 90s for most places. As we look into tomorrow we are tracking the chance for thunderstorms to develop early late tonight, early tomorrow morning.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Good afternoon heartland. It’s looking like a nice, pleasant weather day for today. We’re seeing sunny skies with fairly low humidity. Along with temps sitting in the upper 70s to low 80s for most places. As we head into tonight, skies will stay clear with quiet conditions and temperatures falling back down into the mid 60s. Looking into tomorrow, Friday’s weather expect to see a more active weather pattern with rain and storms coming back into the area.
