GADSDEN, Tenn. (WMC) - For more than two days, authorities searched for the driver of a vehicle that was totaled in a crash in Crockett County. In an update Monday night, the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department said that they found the person who they believe is the driver, and that he said he was picked up from the crash scene and taken home unscathed.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC/Gray News) - Authorities in Tennessee say a citywide search for a missing boy has come to a tragic end. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, 5-year-old Kayden Nolen was found dead at the apartment complex where he went missing earlier this week. On Wednesday, authorities issued an alert for Kayden, who was diagnosed with autism, and went missing from the Lakeview Apartments in Meadow Lake.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a woman after finding six vulnerable adults living in “inhumane conditions” on a bus that was also towing several goats. MPD says the discovery happened Tuesday. The Shelby County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Wednesday night that one of those vulnerable passengers has since died. Around 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, MPD officers responded to a medical call at the Goodyear shop located at 1200 Union Avenue.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The attorney for the man accused of going on a multi-hour shooting spree across the City of Memphis in 2022 said the defense is worried that it’s too early to go to trial. “This is not a normal case,” said Michael Scholl. His client, Ezekiel Kelly, is accused of killing three people and injuring four others while livestreaming on social media. Kelly’s trial is set for July 14, 2025.
