FARRELL, Pa. (WKBN) — A dog shot by Farrell police has passed away, while the family is still looking for more answers from police. It happened on the 500 block of Emerson Avenue in Farrell last Wednesday evening. Java, a pitbull and American bulldog mix, received emergency care but succumbed to her injuries Tuesday night. The owners posted that Java had passed away in Facebook posts Tuesday night.
