    LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - There's a heavy police presence in the 1000 block of South 23rd Street in Louisville. SWAT officers are at the scene. Just before 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Louisville police officers responded to a call reporting a person shot in the 1100 block of South 23rd Street. Officers found a man with a wound. He was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. Police said one person has been detained in connection to this shooting.
