Patrons and golfers alike filled the grounds at Augusta National Golf Club Tuesday underneath a picturesque sky, ahead of this weekend's 89th playing of the Masters. The day marked a sharp turn from Monday's rain-shortened practice round, which closed its gates to patrons around noon for the day due to inclement weather."This is probably the most beautiful place on earth," said Allen Wheatley, a Spartanburg native now living in Greenville. (Clemson Athletics) Down by .325 after the first three rotations, Clemson gymnastics put together a 49.275 on floor to take the 195.400 to 193.875 victory over Rutgers in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Gymnastics Tuscaloosa Regional. The win moves the Tigers into the second round on Friday evening. VAULTQuinn Kuhl led off for the Tigers with a 9.65, followed by a 9.750 for Maggie Holman. Madison Minner earned a 9.775, then Tara Walsh nearly stuck her Yurchenko 1.5 for a 9.800.

It was Clemson’s first game at SRP Park since 2021. The Tigers (27-5) took advantage of five walks in the first inning to score two runs, then McCladdie reached on an infield single with two outs in the third inning to score a run.
