SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs have one of the most storied histories in the NBA. Want proof? Look at their trophy room: Five championships are definitely history book-worthy. But the way they won those championships was through the draft. STANTON, Texas — People who have ever drove through Stanton have probably seen a huge sign that says: "Welcome to Stanton: Home of 3000 Friendly People and a Few Sore Heads". "And I think most old sore heads are dead, but I could be wrong," Martin County Historical Society President Mike Black said. MARATHON, Texas — The Marathon Public Library is the smallest accredited library in the state of Texas, but after 70 years, they won't be holding that distinction for much longer. BCSO says Eady works as an in-home healthcare provider for Senior Buddies. Instead of working in a group home, providers go to the home of the person they are caring for.

CIBOLO, Texas — A 72-year-old romance that started in a movie theater — but not on the screen. The year was 1953, and Joe Blackmon was an usher at the theater. While on the job, someone in the audience caught his attention. Enter Yvonne, who was talking with her friend. Blackmon used his flashlight to shed a light on her to start a conversation. Little did he know, he was shedding a light on the love of his life, as they quickly started dating. Shortly after, they were married.
