    Penn State basketball's Coaches vs. Cancer program is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and the milestone was the topic of much discussion at this year's annual CVC Golf Tournament on the PSU Blue and White Courses Friday. In 1995, then-Nittany Lion coach Bruce Parkhill started PSU CVC as part of a national effort that allowed teams to raise money for the fight against cancer based on the number of 3-pointers they made. Two years later, Penn State's signature golf tournament began.
