Much like the Big 12’s 2025 running back class, the wide receivers who have declared for the NFL draft are a sneaky solid group as well. There are two guys who are projected to be taken in the top ten: Travis Hunter from Colorado and Tetairoa McMillan from Arizona will be the first Big 12 wide receivers selected. Hunter, of course, is a two-way player who wants to play wide receiver and cornerback. We’ll see whatever the team that drafts him decides to do, but it will be fun to watch regardless.

The Big 12 is expected to have three players drafted in the top ten of the 2025 NFL draft, which is just over a week away now. Everyone has been focused on Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, the former Colorado Buffaloes prospects, and for good reason. Hunter, the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner, may be the best overall player in this draft class. In a weak quarterback class, Sanders is one of the top quarterback prospects available.
